A Unique California – Italian Menu

Tables set up with utensils and glasses

Once a bike shop, the 1977 building that houses Creekwood restaurant was entirely rebuilt. The interior features several unique design details. The walls and ceiling are made vertical grain Douglas Fir milled from an old warehouse in California. The black iron and all the woodwork are custom designed. The acorn holophane lamps that hang on black iron pipe were recovered from an ammunition factory built in the early 1920’s in Wisconsin. Lighting includes sandblasted Jack Daniels bottles, and the center lights from a demolished factory in Holland and old factory chicken wire glass was used in the transom windows.

Creekwood's Community

Creekwood restaurant spans 1,700 square feet, seats 50 inside and 20 people outside on the heated patio. Owner Greg Poulios and restaurant partner Mark Louie, who have known each other since preschool, spent years looking for the right location to open Creekwood before coming across the building. Poulios and Louie worked together at Zuppa in San Francisco and brought on former Zuppa chef, Liam Bonner, to lead the kitchen at Creekwood.
